Yep, I wasn't lying yesterday when I said I've been drawn to minimalist colors the last few weeks.  This black dress and these white shorts are on the top of my "must have" list.

This guy is high on my wish list.  I just love the way a statement necklace can instantly transform an otherwise simple outfit.  This is definitely a look I will be rocking this summer.

I know I said I was on the fence about this trend, but I picked up a pair of overalls this weekend and I'm in love.  They are so comfy and dare I say, stylish.  I say this trend is a YES!

Good morning Monday.  Wow, what a weekend it was.  I seriously can't thank the girls of Enjoy Events enough for having me be a part of their workshop.  I had a blast turning this inspiration board into a table setting.  I loved meeting all of the participants and sharing a few budget friendly diy projects that I made.  So, here are some iPhone pics I snapped of the table.  I'll be back later this week to dive into a few of the diy goodies too.

spring transition.

As spring time quickly approaches and the temps warm up, I've been dreaming up new ways to take key pieces in my wardrobe and transition them.  While we all know that I love a good maxi dress with a blazer or sweater thrown on top as I head out the door, I'm also loving this look.  I just recently picked up a pair of faux leather shorts and I think they'd look amazing with a simple white tee and oversized blazer.
