worky workshop.

Happy happy happy Friday!  I am so excited to share that this Sunday I will be chatting about styling a tabletop at the rad workshop that the Enjoy Events girls are hosting.  Yipppeeeeee!  I can't wait to meet everyone.  And in the meantime, here's a sneak of the little inspiration board I put together for the table I'm styling up.

tassel party.

Whether it's an accent on a scarf or a full blown gorgeous garland, I am a big fan of the tassel.  I mean, how amazing would one of those garlands look in your home?  Please go and buy one so I won't and can live vicaroiusly through you.  This girl needs to put a hold on buying any more household items, but it's hard to stop with all of these beauties out there.

black skinnies.

Oh that Erin Wasson, she is truly the epitome of cool.  I love how she rocks a pair of black skinny jeans like nobody's business.  I'm on the hunt for a pair of my own.  Perhaps I can channel a teeny tiny bit of Erin's effortlessly amazing look.

goldies.

Yesterday I almost screamed in the middle of Target.  I spotted this gold side table and I literally ran over to grab it (last one in the store).  It is so amazing and ummmm I think everyone needs one, don't you?  Hello, it's even on sale for $47.99.  You seriously can't beat that price.  And here's another item that's making me scream...this gorgeous bangle.  so so so pretty!  Ok, that's it for this Tuesday.  Enjoy shopping. :)

soups.

This weekend I found myself in the oddest of places, the kitchen.  Ha!  My husband is the regular chef in this family, but I really am determined to learn how to make at least a few good dishes.  So this past Saturday I found myself busting out our food processor and preparing two yummy soups.  Both were equally delicious and my husband and I both had our favorites.  I leaned towards the chilled cucumber avocado soup (recipe here), while G really loved the creamy cauliflower soup (recipe here).  All in all I can definitely tell you that these recipes are super easy for someone who rarely spends time in the kitchen.  The instuctions were simple to follow and the end results were definite crowd pleasers in this home.
