happy birthday G.

Tomorrow is G's birthday! He never wants to make a big deal about his birthday, but he also knows that the girl he married likes to make a celebration out of the littlest moment. So, last night when he called to say he was leaving work and would be home in 20 minutes, I thought, why not have a little early birthday celebration for him?!?  Well, good thing I always have plenty of crafting supplies on hand.  So I threw up some streamers, sprinkled confetti and sequins around, and put some cookies in a glass jar.  Done and done!  

To my G, I know this is going to be the best year yet.  I love you beyond measure.  You are the most loving, kind, and sweet man.  I love celebrating every day with you.  Love you, love your show!

I spotted this dreamy photo via pinterest and was immediately drawn to that feather cuff.  I love it's pretty details.  I was able to find the original, and also two other versions that I would love to add to my growing jewelry collection.  Yep, my feather love continues.

Just a few little pretties that I'm currently coveting.  Everyone keeps raving about turkish towels, and I think it's about time to add some to our home.  This brass cuff is a definitely must.  It's handmade in Kenya and it is just pure beauty.  Enjoy shopping (pssst, I also think these items would make the cutest gifts).

new zealand.

This weekend we met up with friends at the Ferry Building.  I truly love the hustle and bustle of that place on the weekends...so filled with energy.  After eating a quick bite, we headed down to this amazing New Zealand pop-up restaurant, Waiheke Island Yacht Club.  When G and I went on our honeymoon to New Zealand, we visited Waiheke Island with these same friends!  So it was a treat to hang out at the San Francisco "version" with them.  Here are a few photos from our visit to the island three years ago.  Waiheke is just a short ferry ride from Auckland and it is absolutely breathtaking.  I'm craving a trip back.

Wow, this week was jammed pack for my husband and me.  We are very excited to have a bit of down time this weekend (but not going to lie, we also have a few fun plans with friends).  I'm very much looking forward to wandering about with my husband.  Any exciting weekend plans for you?
