Hello there.  I've been a little quiet on the blog this week, and I hate to say it, but that trend will continue this week.  It's my birthday today (yay)!  Hmmm it feels a little strange to be announcing that on my own blog, ha...but it's true.  So I've decided to give myself a little birthday treat and take the week off.  The hubs and I have lots of fun activities planned and I will be sure to share next week.  Now, I'm off to celebrate!  And special thanks to Edyta for the below photo (that was such a fun shoot)!

on the hunt.

I've been working on a mini makeover of our living room.  I started with our new rug (which by the way, I am still totally obsessed with it.  Such a great purchase!).  I'm now on the hunt for a new coffee table.  I'd love a soft ottoman that we can use as a coffee table (placing a tray on it for magazines and a candle).  Eeeekkkk, so far I haven't had much luck, but I am determined to find the perfect one.

I've been on a major closet cleaning kick, cause I'm dying to make room for little beauties like this Parker dress.  w-o-w!  I wouldn't mind wearing this beauty to pretty much every holiday party this season.  But first things first, I still need to finish cleaning out my closet.  And a little sale of some of my closet items is shortly coming...stay tuned.
